Former Prime Minister appeared before the Supreme Court in the National Accountability Ordinance 1999 amendment case.
A five-member bench, led by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, is hearing the case. The proceedings aren't live-streamed.
During the hearing, Khawaja Haris, counsel in the original case, was absent, disappointing the CJP. The case's prolonged duration was attributed to disputes over admissibility.
Video link arrangements were finalized per the court's order. The previous hearing allowed PTI founder to attend via video link.
Review petitions were filed, contesting the amendments' validity. In a 2-1 verdict, the court upheld PTI founder's petition, restoring graft cases against public officials.
