Iran To Hold Presidential Election On June 28
Iran's presidential election will be held on June 28.
The decision came during an emergency meeting chaired by interim president Mohammad Mokhber, following the death of President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash.
Candidate registration is scheduled for May 30 to June 3, with the campaign period from June 12 to 27.
Mokhber, appointed interim president on Monday, will lead a council to manage executive affairs and prepare for the election within 50 days.
