 Former Pakistani Cricketer Sajjad Akbar Passed Away 

Sajjad Akbar is a former Pakistani cricketer, known for his right-arm off-spin bowling. Born on March 1, 1961, in Lahore, Pakistan, he played for the Pakistan national cricket team primarily during the 1990s. Akbar made his Test debut on January 6, 1990, against Australia and played his last Test match against Sri Lanka on August 14, 1990. He also appeared in a few One Day Internationals (ODIs) for Pakistan.

Throughout his career, Akbar was more successful at the domestic level, where he represented teams such as Lahore and Habib Bank Limited. He was noted for his effective off-spin bowling and his ability to contribute useful runs lower down the order. Although his international career was brief, his performances in domestic cricket have been well-regarded.
